Getting Started

Installation

PDF Content Search is available on the Mac App Store or as a direct download.

Adding Folders

  1. Launch the app and select File → Add Folder (⌘N)
  2. Choose a folder containing your documents
  3. The app automatically begins text recognition on all files

Progress is shown in the status bar at the bottom. Depending on the number and size of your documents, initial processing may take some time. The estimated time remaining is displayed.

Starting Your First Search

Once processing is complete (or even while it's still running), you can use the search field in the upper right corner (⌘F). Enter a search term — results appear instantly in the list.
