PDF. Scanner.
Scan invoices, contracts and letters on the go. PDF. Scanner. turns them into PDFs and transfers them encrypted to PDF Content Search on your Mac – the next time you search, they're already there.
Free for iPhone and iPad, no ads. Credits for AI name suggestions are available in the app.

Android
The Android version is coming soon to Google Play. Until then, PDF. Scanner. is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store.
Continue on your phone
Scan the code with your iPhone or iPad camera. It opens this page, which takes you straight to the App Store.
Pair with PDF Content Search on your Mac
Your scans arrive in PDF Content Search on your Mac and are searchable right away. Pairing requires PDF Content Search 1.14 or later (macOS 14 Sonoma or later).
- On your Mac, share a folder in PDF Content Search under Settings → Sharing.
- In the scanner app, choose “Connect to macOS”. It shows a 9-digit code.
- On your Mac, enter the code in the “Enter the code from the mobile device” field and click “Connect”.
AI file names, if you want them
The app can suggest a file name for each scan, such as “250401 Invoice Telekom.pdf”. It asks for your permission once beforehand (on iPhone and iPad from version 1.17); after that, the suggestion comes automatically after every scan. For this, the recognized text of the first page goes to OpenAI (USA) via our server. Older iOS versions create the name without asking as soon as the naming rule contains AI placeholders – as in the default setting.
Each suggestion costs 1 credit. Some credits are free to start with, more are available in the app. Naming rules that use only date placeholders work without AI and without credits.
